What to say about me? Hmmm...

Well, I'm a mother, I'm married, and I've had an intense interest in writing since I was very young. Many other career ideas have come and gone, most of which were simple interests, never meant to go beyond an embryonic stage. I feel writing doesn't belong in that category. Time and again, I've yearned to do more with it, to create something that people will enjoy.

This is clearly a long process, and thus, still a work-in-progress.

What else is there to say about me? Well, here are some basics:

I'm 5'4, average build, auburn hair, brown eyes. I have a temper, and it can go one of two ways; it can take a long time for me to get angry, and when I do, I tend to snap. The other way is I explode instantly, and the anger burns out fast. In the former case, it takes me longer to settle down. In the latter, I'm quick to forgive.

I can be stubborn at times; pride is my gift and my curse. But, I can also be pretty easy-going, once I get to know someone. I tend to be shy and aloof until that is achieved, but I'd never intentionally snub someone. I have a hard time getting close to people; once I do, I ensure those bonds last.

I can be a bit of a geek; I still love playing video games, and likely always will. I have a whole plethora of fandoms; from the worlds of DC and Marvel, to Transformers, to animes like Devil May Cry and Studio Ghibli stuff. Most of the music I listen to falls into one Metal category or another. Some of the bands I like are Disturbed, Metallica, Dragonforce, Sonata Arctica, Kamelot, System of a Down, Linkin Park, Skillet, Eyeshine, Breaking Benjamin, Within Temptation, Epica, and quite a bit more (though a lot of the stuff I like is the odd handful of songs by an artist; usually an artist I barely know anything about, besides the songs I like by them).

I enjoy reading, of course. I like some of Stephen King and Anne Rice's work, along with the Millenium Trilogy by the late Stieg Larrson. I love fantasy and fiction most of all, but I also like to read on different mythologies as well(Yes, yes, still technically "fiction", lol).

I'm not really sure what else to say about me. If you want to know anything, feel free to ask. :)
